Synopsis: Hocus Pocus 2 makes numerous nods to the original 1993 movie. It adheres to standard legacy fuel guidelines by rehashing past storylines for a new audience and bringing back familiar characters. With the exception of being placed in modern times and making reference to current discussions about female empowerment, the idea is essentially the same. It imposes politically acceptable ideas about strong women and the patriarchy that are unnecessary to investigate in hocus pocus.
