Synopsis: Purple Hearts is a heartbreaking romance tale about how opposites attract. Since the characters aren’t cardboard cutouts and their current world views have been appropriately constructed out of their upbringing, it is undoubtedly carving out its own niche within the genre. However, they also have a lot of similarities with the left- and right-leaning Twitter Gen Z stereotypes, which makes their constant animosity seem manufactured rather than genuine.
