Synopsis: Sonic is eager to show that he has what is necessary to be a real hero after arriving in Green Hills. Dr. Robotnik reappears, this time with the new accomplice, Knuckles, in quest of an emerald with the potential to destroy civilizations. Sonic partners up with his own helper, Tails, and embarks on a globe-trotting quest to recover the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.
