Synopsis: King Aruvandil is a Viking King who is assassinated by his brother Fjolnir, who inherits his estate and Queen Gudrun. Fjolnir attempts to murder his son, Amleth, who pledges vengeance as a youngster and, after years of slaying and plundering with an adoptive tribe, finds that Fjolnir has relocated to Iceland.
